【英文标题】On the Opening up of Paddy Field in the Northeast of China During the End of Qing Dynasty

【内容提要】19世纪中叶以来，清政府逐渐放弃对东北地区的封禁政策，朝鲜移民陆续进入图们江及鸭绿江对岸的中国东部边疆地区。早期进入中国东北的朝鲜移民克服东北地区气候寒冷、无霜期短、缺乏水利设施等各种困难，试验着开发出了一片片水田，从而揭开了东北近代水田开发史的序幕。
【英文摘要】From the middle periods of the 19th century,the Qing govern-ment forsook the policy of blockading on the Northeast of Chi-na gradually.So that lots of immigrants from Korea got over the boundary river of the Tumenjiang and the Yalujiang,and mi-grated into the borderland of China.The early immigrants from Korea overcame every difficulty such as the frigid,the short frost-free period and the lack of water conservancy facilities,etc.and tried to open up lots of tracts of paddy field in the Northeast of China.Thus they raised the curtain in the history of the opening up of paddy field in the Northeast of China.
