文化价值观的经济学：何以可能，何种进路？

内容提要：文化价值观对于人类行为、经济发展的重大影响是有目共睹的，但是将文化现象纳入经济学框架却充满着争论。争论的焦点不仅包括能否对文化进行理性选择为基础的经济分析，而且还体现在研究路径的差异上。本文认为由于文化价值观是个人选择的结果，因此它能够而且应该成为经济学分析的对象。值得强调的是，应用效用范式与博弈范式并不是文化经济分析的好方法，而从文化成本概念出发则可以深化对文化现象的认识。

Economics of Culture Values: Feasibility and Approach
Abstract: It is acknowledged that culture values can impose great effects on human behaviors and economic development. However, addressing cultural phenomenon under the framework of economics has been the subject of animated controversy, which focus on whether an economic analysis of culture can be conducted on the basis of rational choices and what approach can be adopted. This paper argues that culture values, resulting from people’s choices, can be and should be analyzed economically. The paper also notes that it is inappropriate for researchers to apply utility paradigm or game paradigm to the analysis. Instead, the awareness of the cultural factor can be improved when viewed from the perspective of cultural cost.
