The Use of Simple English In the Organization of Classroom Activities

Go for it! Demands English teaching pays attention to the development of students’ comprehensive language knowledge competence, especially communicative competence. But to the Chinese students, who live in a non-English-speaking situation, they have few chance to speak English. To such English learners, the English classroom has merely become the main place that the students contact and use English. One of the best ways to increase the use of English in class is to teach the class entirely in English. In junior English teaching, the teacher should use simple English to organize classroom activities, which is better to develop students’ communicative competence and their thinking in English.
