秦汉社会性质的再思考

【内容提要】长期以来，中国历史学家们按照常说的历史唯物主义的社会发展五阶段论，把从秦汉到明清2000余年的社会，界定为地主经济型的封建社会，但其本质特征与封建社会的本质特征完全不相符合，故提出再思考。其初衷是希望摈弃传统思维模式，坚持马克思主义历史唯物论之最基本原则，改进对中国历史的研究。
【英文摘要】Since 1950s, many Chinese historians, following the Theoryof Five Development Stages of Human Society, believe that Chinesesociety from Qin-Han to Ming-Qing dynasties was a feudalistSociety with landlord-economy. According to the basic principle ofMarxism, the article thinks that this viewpoint isnt in conformitywith the characteristics of feudalist society and hold that weshould abandon the traditional mode of thought and improve theresearch on the Chinese history.
