布迪厄的科学知识分子和知识政治

提 要：布迪厄知识分子理论着重在知识分子与文化生产的场域和现代社会的等级关系上。他的知识分子理论实际上是关于知识实践的理论。他的知识场域分析强调知识分子的历史性和政治性以及他们在争取合法性斗争中所起的象征生产者作用。尽管这一分析着重在知识分子事实上如何的问题,但也包括了布迪厄对知识分子应当如何的见解。这两种同时存在的不同取向都对布迪厄作为社会科学家的政治知识分子立场产生了影响。

Abstruct: Pierre Bourdieus understanding of intellectuals stems from his general views of fields of cultural production and of the stratification orders in modern societies. His theory of intellectuals is a theory of intellectual practices. His field analytical perspective stresses that all definitions of intellectuals are historical and fundamentally political, emerging as they do from struggles among symbolic producers for legitimation. Yet, despite his descriptive approach to intellectuals, there is also a normative aspect in his view of the intellectual vocation. These two different but related aspects contribute to the tension in Bourdieus thought, one that reflects his position as a politically commited social scientist.
