Abstract: The important question in global academia is not to conquer orient but how to discover orient again. Between the center and the edge, between the self and the other, their relationship is very complicated because of the course of globalization. Therefore, there is no nation could break away from the basic situation of the universal culture and development. What we can only do is to keep our national character and leave off the unfair relationship of the universal situation. The attitude we hold should be changed from importing our culture to exporting it, which could make ourselves have not only the open image but also the local cultural basement and the internal spirit.
