Abstract：This paper is on software-aided automatic calculation of engineering quantity in the evaluation for its cost，and on problems existing in the application of this kind software and its reason-analysis.It also offers several points of consideration about present problems.

进入信息时代，计算机及相关软件在建设工程项目管理领域的应用也越来越广泛。在项目成本管理领域，早已实现工程成本及造价计算过程中定额子目的自动套用、费用的自动计算及人、材、机的自动分析和汇总，但工程量的计算还未能完全实现自动化，各类具有自动算量能够功能的软件在实际应用中也存在各种问题。
