潮阳西园——中西合璧的岭南近代园林

摘要：潮阳西园是岭南近代营造的一个十分重要的私家庭园，它以中国传统园林为基础，在造园艺技方面，继承了岭南传统庭园的精髓，又对西方园林的形式美学有相当的模仿，并运用了近代新材料、新技术大胆创新,吸收西方园林的技术与艺术，中西合璧，勇于创新，并因此成为粤东地区乃至岭南的近代著名私园，其创作思路和艺术风格至今仍值得借鉴和吸收，为中国传统园林的发展提供了宝贵的经验。

Abstract:The West Garden in Chaoyang is an important private garden built in modern Lingnan. It fused the Chinese and Western arts, and also innovated basing on the tradition of China and the technique and art of Western garden. The West Garden provides the valuable experience for the development of Chinese garden.
