Structural forms and language transfer problems in translation of medical article titles from Chinese into English
【Abstract】 With the increasing international academic exchange most of the medical journals require English titles attached to the medical articles to be published. The awkward translation of titles from Chinese into English sometimes will confuse the editors and consequently directly affect the adoption of the article. This paper aims at providing some advice to the Chinese medical researchers on the translation of medical article titles from Chinese into English by analyzing the main structural forms and some language transfer problems in the title translation.
