【内容提要】中国传统体育与现代体育具有相容性。现代体育既是国际体育的发扬，又是对传统体育的发展。现代体育的发展方向便是体育现代化。它包含着体育走向产业化、社会化、国际化、信息化等。研究中国现代体育与体育现代化，对于发展体育事业具有重要意义。

【英文摘要】there exists compatability between the chinese traditional sport and the chinese modern sport.the sports of today is not only the development of the worlds sports,but also the advancement of the traditional sport.the tendency of sport development is the sport modernization,i.e,industrialization,socialization,internationalization and communication.studyingthe modern sports of china and the sport modernization is very important for the development of sports.
