【内容提要】体育与军事，既有密切的联系，又有明显的区别。它们相互影响和促进，在人类历史进程中保持着特殊的亲缘关系。在现代已经形成了一个既是体育组成部分，又可纳入军事领域的相对独立的军事体育系统，并在体育及军事活动中，发挥独特的、双重的作用。
