【内容提要】随着我国社会经济结构和管理体制的深化改革，成人教育社区化成为成人教育摆脱困境、谋求继续发展的新途径。文章揭示了社区成人教育的内涵和基本特点，并在分析发展社区成人教育必要性的基础上，提出了推动社区成人教育发展的建议。
