【摘要】日新月异的信息技术，促进了现代远程教育的迅猛发展，给人们的学习和教育方式带来了深刻变革。本文介绍了现代远程教育的理论基础，分析了现代远程教育的主要特征，提出了教师要成为意义建构的促进者和协作者，学习进程的组织者和指导者，信息资源的设计者和开发者。

【Abstract】The information technology is changing with each passing day, which brings about a great advance in Modern long-Range Education and results in a deep going change in ways people study and receive education This essay introduces the theoretical basis of Modern long-Range Education analyses the main features of Modern long-Range Education, and demands that the teacher should be the promoter and cooperator of forming Modern long-Range Education in meaning, the organizer and director of learning Modern long-Range Education, and the designer and developer of information resources.
