中国主要英语新闻网站的特点及局限性分析

[内容摘要] 20世纪90年代以来，我国已充分认识到互联网在新闻报道中的巨大优势，并大力通过其开展对外宣传活动，其中各大英语网站成为对外传播信息的重要渠道。如今它们已形成一定规模，成为中国外宣工作的主渠道和外国人了解中国的重要窗口。本文在对中国几大英语网站进行简介的基础上，对这些网站的特点进行探讨，并分析它们在对外传播上的局限性。

Abstract: As Internet has risen as an important media since1990s, China fully recognized the great potential and advantages of the Internet in news coverage, it strengthened propaganda of China to the outside world by taking the advantage of the Internet. China’s English websites play an important role in reporting and introducing China to foreigners. The article gives a brief introduction to the websites and tries to analyze the features and limitations of the websites.
